The airline boasts of having more than 47% of the market share of the Indian aviation market. This also means that the airline is a very lucrative choice for young people and especially the girls in India when it comes to cabin crew jobs. IndiGo Cabin Crew Eligibility Criteria

Before you proceed to apply for IndiGo Cabin crew, it is crucial to note that there are two types of different eligibilities for two different roles. First is the role for experienced Cabin Crew or the Lead Cabin Attendant – ATR for which the females applying must have a minimum age of 21. The second role in the IndiGo Cabin crew is for the cabin attendant, in which the age of the female candidates applying can be between 18 and 27 and they work in the Airbus aircraft.

The other qualifications for IndiGo cabin crew include Indian resident with an Indian passport, education qualification of 10+2 from a recognised board or university. In communication, the female candidates must be fluent in both Hindi and English. The candidates must also have a minimum height of 155 cm and weight according to the BMI. In addition to this, they must be well-groomed and must not have any visible tattoos while in uniform.

IndiGo Interview Day Preparation for Indigo Flight Attendant Recruitment

After understanding the various eligibility guidelines for IndiGo cabin crew, the next step is to start gathering as much knowledge as possible about IndiGo, cabin crew jobs and the various responsibilities of the cabin crew members. After this, you will have to navigate to the IndiGo Careers website where you will have to go the “View All Jobs” section. You can lookout for the most convenient time and location and apply on the online recruitment portal (Click on ‘view all jobs’) accordingly. Once applied, you will have to go to the walk-in at the interview venue as per the given details.

IndiGo has also specified some of the details about the interview and first of them is the dress code. For this, the candidates must come wearing a half-sleeve shirt and a knee-length well-fitted skirt with black stockings. In addition to this, they should also carry 2 passport size photographs, soft copy along with 1 printed copy of updated resume and photocopies of 10th and 12th mark sheets from a recognised board or university, Aadhar Card, PAN Card, and Passport. 

After the Selection Process

At the interview centre, the height and weight of the candidates will be measured and if they are deemed fit for the job, then they will be forwarded to attend the next levels of the interview. Also, IndiGo has noted that the candidates must be able to relocate as IndiGo has many working locations across India. After selection, the candidate will have to stay in Gurgaon for three months (approximately) of training and clear all DGCA examinations required to fetch a flying license before getting relocated to the work location.
