Air Arabia Abu Dhabi has announced the launch of a new service to Mumbai, making it the airline's sixth Indian destination. On May 12th, the low-cost carrier will begin a three-times-weekly service to Mumbai.
Air Arabia Abu Dhabi will begin a new route between Abu Dhabi and Mumbai on May 12th. On Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays, flights will be offered on an Air Arabia Abu Dhabi Airbus A320.
The airline said, "Mumbai or “the city of dreams” is a destination that every traveler must visit. The capital city of Maharashtra state is known for its unique experience, magnificent architecture, religious sites, and savoury cuisine. Besides being India’s financial center and a major economic hub, it is considered the city of aspirations, wealth, and glamour."
Air Arabia's website and contact centre, as well as travel bureaus, are already selling tickets. One-way fares start at 510 AED ($139) and roundtrip fares start at 999 AED ($272).
Mumbai joins Calicut, Chennai, Jaipur, Kochi, and Trivandrum as Air Arabia Abu Dhabi's sixth Indian destination.
The airline's Chennai service will start on April 27th, with twice-weekly flights (Mondays and Wednesdays). The cost of a round-trip ticket on this route is roughly 1193 AED ($325).
Flights to Jaipur will begin a week later, on May 5th, on a twice-weekly basis (Mondays and Thursdays). The cost of a return ticket starts at roughly 997 AED ($271).
