Air India, India's leading airline, bolstered its Domestic Network with the addition of 24 new flights last month. Now, the airline announced enhanced connectivity on its International Network with the introduction of new flights to Qatar. Read to know more.
Air India Direct Flights to Doha from Chennai, Hyderabad and Mumbai
Considering the demand expected around the football extravaganza in Qatar in November and December, Air India announced the introduction of 20 new flights per week to Qatar from Chennai, Hyderabad and Mumbai. From 30th October 2022, Air India will connect Chennai, Hyderabad and Mumbai with Qatar's capital Doha during this period.
Connectivity between India and Qatar:
Three flights per week will operate from Chennai, four from Hyderabad and thirteen from Mumbai. These flights will be in addition to the existing daily flights to Doha from Delhi. The additional connectivity to Qatar follows Air India’s increase of 24 new flights on its domestic network last month.

Air India’s increase of 24 new flights on its domestic network:
These additional 24 flights include two new frequencies from Delhi to Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, and Mumbai and from Mumbai to Chennai and Hyderabad, as well as one new frequency on the Ahmedabad-Pune route and Mumbai-Bengaluru route. The strengthening of network connectivity is being enabled as more aircraft return to service.
Air India is also now flying daily, direct between Delhi and Vancouver. The addition of new flights across domestic and international sectors will bolster connectivity, facilitating more travel options for passengers.
