The national carrier, Air India has announced a new flight from New Delhi to Toronto. The national carrier has been slated to go through a disinvestment process recently, but still, the airline continues to introduce new routes and is also adding new flights on its existing routes as well increasing the frequency of its flights on certain routes. In the last week of July, Air India has made some major announcements about new routes. On the occasion of the launch of its new flight from Delhi to Toronto, Canada, the national carrier has come up with a branding campaign as well.
Air India Delhi-Toronto Flight Branding on Delhi Metro
Air India, to promote the word about its new Delhi-Toronto flight wrapped the rapid metro trains in Delhi with innovative branding. The branding showcased information about the new flight and a massive Air India poster. The Twitter video posted by Air India flaunts this new branding. It is worth noting that Air India will begin this new flight from Delhi to Toronto on September 27, 2019.
Air India to Start More Flights in Upcoming Months
Air India has been very active on its official Twitter handle lately and has been announcing new flights connecting new destinations left, right and centre. Another flight which Air India will flag off in September includes the flight from Mumba to Hong Kong, which will be a daily non-stop flight and it will take off September 19, 2019, onwards. On the same day, the carrier will also be flagging-off a new Delhi-Seoul flight which will facilitate travel to South Korea for the passengers. The starting fare for the Delhi-Seoul flight has been announced to be Rs 40,399 by Air India.
Lastly, there is another flight which Air India will start before all these other flights in August only and this will be a flight from Amritsar to Birmingham. This flight will start on August 15, 2019, Independence Day. Air India has also won “The Best Inflight Services" award recently at Today's Traveller Award. Director Commercial Ms Meenakshi Mallik received the award on behalf of Team Air India at the event.
