Benefits of Air India SBI Platinum Card

The 5,000 reward points for joining will be credited into your account in the first fifteen days after you make the annual fee payment. There is yet another joining benefit of the card which is that you get free membership of the Air India Frequent Flyer Program. Coming to the reward points, you can earn 15,000 bonus points when you achieve your milestone for annual spending. If you are spending at least Rs 2,00,000 annually, then you will receive a bonus of 5000 points. For a yearly spend of Rs 3,00,000 or more, you will earn 10,000 points. The total points that you will receive are 15,000. Every time you renew your card, you will earn 2000 points.

Every time you spend Rs 100 from the card, you will earn two reward points. Every time you spend Rs 100 on Air India tickets, you will receive 15 points, and for other airlines, you will earn 5 points. You can use these miles that you earn in redeeming Air India flight tickets by converting the points to Air India Air Miles. One reward point equals one Air India Air Mile. With the card, you will also be able to make use of the Visa Lounge Access Program and get eight complimentary access to domestic airport lounges. There is also a fuel surcharge of 1% on all the fuel transactions which you make from the card. The maximum waiver you can get on fuel transactions in a month is of Rs 250.

Eligibility Criteria For Air India SBI Platinum Card

To be able to apply for the card, you must have a stable income source. The income criteria will be informed to you by the bank when you apply for the card. Fees and Charges of Air India SBI Platinum Card

There is a joining and annual fee of Rs 1,499, and the renewal fee is the same as well. The bank will charge an interest rate of up to 3.35% per month. When you withdraw money from ATM, you will be charged with a 2.5% interest on your withdrawal, and the minimum amount which you can withdraw is Rs 300. There will be a cash payment fee of Rs 100. If you lose your card and need it to be reissued, you will have to pay a charge of Rs 100. Every foreign currency transaction which you make will be levied with 3.5% interest. One of the features of the card is the Flexipay. This allows you to convert any amount above Rs 2,500 into EMI’s for your convenience.
