Air India’s Delhi-Kannur Flights to Begin From Today

Air India and Air India Express has announced new services from Kannur International Airport, announces the authorities of Kannur airport.

Air India will start services from Kannur International Airport to Delhi via Kozhikode from Tuesday. The flight AI 425 will depart from Delhi airport at 9.05 am on the day, and will reach Kannur at 12.15 pm. At 1 pm, the flight will leave to Kozhikode reaching the destination at 1.30 pm.

The return flight AI 426 will leave Kozhikode at 2.15 pm to reach Kannur at 2.45 pm. The flight will then fly to Delhi from Kannur at 3.30 pm and will arrive at the destination at 6.45 pm. The services will be available on all days, except Mondays and Thursdays.

AI 426 will also connect travellers through Air India’s hub in Delhi to various destinations in the US, UK, Europe and far east. Passengers can directly check-in their baggage for connecting flights from the national capital.

Air India Express has announced additional services to Sharjah from Kannur airport, from Wednesday. The airline has also announced services to Muscat from Tuesday. The services to Muscat will be available for three days a week.

Air India Express Bahrain - Kannur Flight

Air India Express started services to Bahrain from Monday (yesterday). Bahrain Airport Company (BAC) welcomed the arrival of the inaugural Air India Express flight from Kannur following the commencement of a new service. This is the the first direct services to Bahrain from Kannur.

According to a report published by The Daily Tribune - News of Bahrain, Ayman Zainal, Chief Commercial Officer, BAC received the flight alongside Indian Ambassador to Bahrain, Alok Kumar Sinha, Air India Express Country Manager, Saket Saran, and other officials. “We hope that the introduction of this new route will further strengthen bilateral relations and serve the needs of the large expat community in the Kingdom,” the publication quoted Zainal.

The flights to Bahrain will be available for two days in a week, on Monday and Saturday.
