AirAsia India, a low-cost airline owned by the Tata Group has announced ‘Red Carpet Service’ for all passengers. The highlight of this service is that it is absolutely free for anyone booking their flights directly through the official mobile application or website of the airline. With the Red Carpet service, AirAsia India would offer passengers a dedicated Red Carpet check-in counter at all the airports, priority boarding for entering the aircraft first, and priority baggage delivery on the conveyer belt on arrival.
Passengers Booking Through Third-Party Apps/Websites Will Have to Pay Rs 500 for Red Carpet Service
Shall the passenger choose to avail of the Red Carpet service of the airline via a third-party website or app, he/she will have to pay Rs 500 as a charge.
The Red Carpet service can be found under the ‘Popular Add-Ons’ section while booking the flight and can be availed for free.
This is an attempt of the airline to offer premium services to passengers and create a difference in selling point.
