Tata Group-owned AirAsia announced a massive sale keeping those who book tickets way upfront. AirAsia says it's hosting a six million ticket sale this week (November 4-November 10), but the travel dates should be between April 27, 2020, and March 1, 2021. It will be massive sale from the airline as a total of six million tickets will be up for grabs. Having said that, the travel dates may disappoint some travellers out there, however, AirAsia is clearly aiming at the ones who book their travel way ahead. These days, several people plan their vacation at least five to six months prior and this sale from AirAsia will be extremely useful for them.

AirAsia made this announcement on Facebook on November 2, stating that the sale will begin on November 4 and will last until November 10. Furthermore, the airline is also said to offer heavy discounts on hotel stays, holiday packages and activity deals. Furthermore, AirAsia will also provide extra baggage allowance up to 20kgs during the said travel dates. The massive sale tickets can be booked via both the company's website and mobile app.
Tata Group Looking to Bid for Air India
In other news, owners of AirAsia, Tata Group, already confirmed that it would bid for Air India in the upcoming sale. The government is looking to sell its entire stake in Air India, so Tata Group is looking to participate in the major auction which is expected to happen in the second half of December. For now, Tata Group already owns AirAsia and it jointly runs Vistara Airlines with Singapore Airlines, so it will be interesting to see how the Air India stake purchase will be helpful for the company.
