Emirates looks forward to growing its Airbus A380 network as the new and changed IATA winter timetable planned for Sunday, October 31st sees the addition of Airbus A380 once again in six more routes. Now Emirates will be able to exceed one thousand rotations coming November with the giant of the skies.
Emirates has been constantly working to prove that Airbus A380 has still not lost its place in the aviation industry after suffering from the pandemic period. A380 is going to provide additional capacity to the airline with 777 fleets of the airline is already busy for some time. The airline is expecting to reactivate around fifty A380s by the end of 2021.
New Scheduled Routes and Rotations
The relaunch of A380 flights to six destinations on Sunday has already been scheduled. the data provided by Cirium provides the six new routes for A380 and are as follows:
• AMS – Amsterdam – The Netherlands
• GRU – Sao Paulo – Brazil
• HAM – Hamburg – Germany
• JNB – Johannesburg – South Africa
• MAD – Madrid – Spain
• MXP – Milan – Italy
The routes have been scheduled to operate daily in the month of November except for Milan, which has just 22 rotations scheduled for the month. With the addition of these new routes, Emirates will now have Airbus A380 flying to 25 destinations from its Dubai base.
Furthermore, the already existing routes will also see increased capacities from Sunday. Frankfurt has been scheduled with a double daily Airbus A380 from Sunday whereas Vienna will have its capacity increased with 38 rotations planned for November. The new numbers of rotations for the other routes are as follows:
• LHR – London Heathrow – 180 rotations
• DME – Moscow – 55 rotations
• DUS – Dusseldorf – 44 rotations
• VIE – Vienna – 38 rotations
• MXP – Milan – 22 rotations
• YYZ – Toronto – 21 rotations
• CAN – Guangzhou – 4 rotations
