The State Bank of India (SBI) and Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) on Thursday announced a new credit card, namely the ‘BPCL SBI RuPay Contactless’ card. This new contactless credit card is going to offer fuel benefits amongst more to its owners. As per a PTI report, this card will offer 13x reward points every time people use it for making fuel payments worth Rs 100 and so on at BPCL petrol pumps. There will also be a 1% surcharge waiver on every transaction that amounts up to Rs 4,000, meaning a value of 4.25% back. But this is not all; there’s more to the card.
BPCL SBI RuPay Contactless Credit Card Benefits
The BPCL SBI RuPay contactless credit card owners will get much more benefits than just points that they earn when they pay for fuel charges. Cardholders will also get more savings and points when they spend money on purchasing groceries, movies, dining, and departmental stores.
Cardholders will also get 5x reward points on every Rs 100 they spend on different stuff such as departmental stores, eating outside, booking tickets for entertainment shows such as movies. As an activation benefit, customers will also earn Rs 500 worth 2,000 reward points after they have paid the joining fee.
