On the same day that Provo Airport formally debuted its new $55 million terminal facilities, Breeze Airways announced a new set of routes. The airline will fly to Las Vegas, Los Angeles, San Bernardino, San Francisco, and Westchester on a daily basis.
Breeze Airways will operate five daily routes from Provo Municipal Airport (PVU) on August 4th, with the first flights taking place on that day. The airline, which is based in Utah, will have four planes based in Provo, serving both East and West Coast routes.
The airline will offer nonstop flights between Las Vegas, Los Angeles, and San Francisco, as well as one-stop 'BreezeThru' flights between San Bernardino and Westchester. BreezeThru planes make a quick stop at an airport, but passengers stay on the same plane.
Breeze's Airbus A220 aircraft will fly to Las Vegas and Los Angeles, while its Embraer E190 aircraft will fly to San Francisco. Flights from San Bernardino will go through San Francisco, while flights from Westchester will go through Las Vegas.
