Delhi T3 Airport Gets New Food Genie Service to Deliver Food Near Boarding Gates

If you have ever been to the New Delhi Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGIA) then you know that waiting near your boarding gates can be a tedious task. You might have to come to the boarding gates an hour before which might leave you famished. The only things that might come in handy are the limited number of vending machines. However, now with the newly launched Food Genie service at Delhi T3 airport, the passengers at T3 will be able to order food that they will be able to consume before their flight boarding starts without the fear of missing their flight.

Food Genie to Use Kiosks Near Boarding Gates

The Food Genie service will operator based on kiosks which will be put up near the boarding gates at Delhi T3. The kiosks will display various food options which are available at the multiple F&B outlets at the respective food courts at T3 domestic and international terminals.

An airport official said about this new service, “Food Genie service would be beneficial for passengers, who have reached the departure piers and want to have food of their choice without even going to the food court. Many passengers tend to proceed straight to the departure gates and skip eating a meal at the food outlets. The facility would help such passengers satiate their hunger pangs without the fear of missing their flight.”

Food Genie to Use Electric Scooters

The kiosks will be able to update the passengers with various stages of food delivery as well which include preparation, pickup, and more. There are also various delivery points, where the passengers will be able to easily reach to pick up their food without any hassle. Not only that, but Food Genie will use electric scooters to deliver the food near the boarding gates.
