IndiGo Flexi Fare Details

The Flexi fare is a special type of fare offered by IndiGo, which as the name suggests, allows the passengers to be flexible with their travel plans. Under the Flexi fare by IndiGo, the passengers will be able to change their flights and dates unlimited time and they would not be required to pay any extra charges for making these changes. It is worth noting that cancelling and changing flights sometimes can be very expensive, but with IndiGo’s Flexi fare, this would not be the case as the passengers will be easily able to do it without any additional cost.

IndiGo has also noted that although there would not be any change fee on the Flexi fare, the passengers would have to pay the fare difference on the flight ticket. As for the cancellation fee on the Flexi fare, IndiGo has noted that in domestic flights in 0 to 3 days of departure from the flight, the passengers will be charged Rs 3,500 or Airfare charges plus Fare difference will be charged (whichever is lower). For four days and above, the passengers will be charged, Rs 3,000 or Airfare charges plus Fare difference will be charged (whichever is lower). If you have booked your tickets at least 7 days before the date of departure, then you will be able to make free cancellations and changes to your tickets within 24 hours of booking.

The cancellation charges will differ a bit when it comes to international bookings. The passengers will be asked to pay Rs 6,500 or Airfare charges plus Fare difference will be charged (whichever is lower) for 0 to 3 days. For four days and above, the cancellation charges would be Rs 6,000. Passengers should note that changes can be made to a booking up to 2 hours prior for domestic flights and 4 hours prior for international flights.

IndiGo Lite Fare

IndiGo Lite fare is a special option for the passengers who are travelling light. For example, if you are travelling for business purpose and cabin baggage is all that you want to carry, then the IndiGo Lite fare would be the perfect choice for your travel plan. The Lite fare will help you save on your ticket spend. However, with this, you should also note that you won’t be allowed free 15Kg check-in baggage, which is possible with the Flexi fare. The baggage allowance would only grant you 7 Kg of cabin baggage. In case you decide to carry the check-in baggage at the airport with a Lite ticket, then you would be charged Rs 200 for 15 Kg of baggage allowance. Bags weighing beyond that will be charged as per the IndiGo policy. The change fee will be applicable on this fare as mentioned above.
