The new Boeing 777X arrived at the Dubai World Central today for the Dubai Airshow 2021 that will start on November 14, 2021. The aircraft will be on display from the same date. To reach Dubai, the Boeing 777X had to nearly fly for 15 hours straight from Seattle’s Boeing Field which is the longest flight to date for the aircraft. It is worth noting that the Boeing 777X is under a heavy and rigorous testing program.
Boeing 777X or 777-9 Will Be the World’s Largest, Most Efficient Twin-Engine Jet
The company has claimed that the Boeing 777-9 or the Boeing 777X will be the world’s largest and most efficient twin-engine jet. The aircraft will be able to deliver 10% better fuel use, emissions and operating costs than its competitors. The 777X family has a total of 351 orders and commitments from eight leading customers around the globe. The first delivery of the aeroplane is expected in late 2023.
For the unaware, the 2021 event will mark the 17th edition of the Dubai Airshow. It will be held at the Dubai World Central, Dubai Airshow Site.
His Highness, Sheikh Ahmed Bin Saeed Al Maktoum said that based on the number of new participants and exhibitors that have been added this year, the Dubai Airshow 2021 will be even bigger than the 2019 event.
It is expected that there will be 20+ country pavilions featuring the most innovative products and technologies. Further, there might be more than 160 most advanced commercial, military, and private aircraft on display.
