Emirates Flight Tickets Are Now Valid Up To 24 Months

Web Stories

Emirates has already started flying passenger planes. The vital thing to note is that these are very selected passengers who get to board the flight with new social distancing norms. People who were stuck in UAE because of lockdown are now allowed to go back to their countries. The routes open for flying are very less as well. One good thing that has been announced from the airline is that Emirates flight tickets are now valid up to 24 months. This has been done because of the global pandemic - COVID-19 outbreak. A lot of people will be hesitant to board flights now and will cancel.

What Can You Do With Your Tickets

First of all, you need to know that you can only use the amount of the base fare of your original booking against your new one in 24 months. Any difference in base fares will be applicable as well. Now the passengers have an option of cancelling their flight tickets and rescheduling them anytime between the period of 24 months. But this ticket can only be used for a flight that is taking off for the same region or destination.

Extend Your Ticket Or Get A Voucher

If you want, you can extend your ticket up to 24 months and use it anytime between that period, or you can get a voucher against it. When you convert your flight ticket into a voucher, you can use that voucher for other products and services from the airline, or you can also use it to make a fresh booking in the future. There are no additional fees on anything except when you book a new flight which is expensive than the last one. You can change your flight destination in the same region of your original booking, but you can’t change the region of your booking.
