Emirates' most recent "game-changer" Boeing 777 touched down in Tel Aviv today as part of its first-ever service into Israel.
The high-profile delegation on board the inaugural aircraft comprised several higher officials of Israel, highlighting the significance of this new air transportation link.
An attendance of passengers, aviation experts, and guests from across the industry gathered to observe the arrival of Emirates aircraft EK931, which was greeted by Ben Gurion Airport with a water cannon salute. Israel's Minister of Transport and Road Safety, Ms. Merav Michaeli, greeted the VIP delegation when they landed.
Following the welcome ceremony, Emirates gave visitors and dignitaries a look inside its most recent Boeing 777 game-changer. The aircraft includes numerous other thoughtful innovations to assure passenger comfort throughout all cabin classes, including the first totally enclosed First Class suites in the world with virtual windows and room service, delivering the ultimate in luxury and solitude.
Emirates has planned its daily routes to and from Tel Aviv to offer easy access to Dubai and connections to well-known locations like Australia, the Philippines, the Maldives, Sri Lanka, Thailand, and Vietnam.
Additionally, by granting access to both airlines' combined network, which spans 210 destinations in 100 countries, Emirates' codeshare arrangement with flydubai gives passengers even more options when connecting in Dubai.
