Emirates airlines, the flag carrier and the largest airline of the United Arab Emirates have announced a new virtual reality (VR) app. This app’s purpose will be to let passengers or customers experience the airline’s cabin from the couch of their home. Emirates will enable people to navigate through its Economy, Business, and First-Class cabins directly through the new VR app. The airline will further let the customers experience other stuff such as onboard lounge and shower spa on the A380 aircraft. For the unaware, the A380 aircraft of the airline also has a ‘Premium Economy’ cabin and the airline is currently working on updating the app to a new version which will include that as well.

It will be interesting to see how other airlines follow up with this move from Emirates.
