Etihad Airways, the second flag carrier of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and one of the biggest airlines in the world, is offering Indians special fares on international travel. It is a ten-day sale for the Indians where they can travel to Abu Dhabi at special fares. This is in line with the UAE government’s move of removing quarantine requirements for completely vaccinated individuals. All the individuals who are fully vaccinated with two doses of any recognised COVID-19 vaccine will not have to undergo a mandatory quarantine of 14 days when they travel to the UAE.
With the increasing demand for travel with the new rules, Etihad Airways is looking to capture some of the passenger market share as fast as possible with the announcement of special fares.
Etihad Airways Offering Indians Travel to Abu Dhabi for as Low as Rs 13,067
In the ten days sale from the airline (September 16 to September 26, 2021), people can travel to Abu Dhabi from India for as low as Rs 13,067. Note that the travel period for the bookings made under sale should be between September 21, 2021, and June 30, 2022. Further, Etihad Guest Members will get an additional 10% discount on fares to Abu Dhabi.
Neeraj Bhatia, Vice President, Indian Sub-continent, Etihad Airways, said, “India remains Etihad’s largest market outside of the UAE, and as we soon enter our seventeenth year in the country, I am happy to once again welcome travellers from India to Abu Dhabi onboard Etihad.”
“We have introduced several measures which prioritise the health and safety of our guests to ensure they can travel with greater peace of mind with Etihad Wellness. Due to its close proximity to India, we see Abu Dhabi emerging as a preferred destination and an ideal getaway for travellers from the country,” Bhatia added.
Travellers can also leverage the ‘Verified to Fly’ service of the airline from its website and travel with convenience.
