Etihad Airways might restart flying to International destinations from August. Some of the European countries have cleared a few of the nations to fly internationally. For airlines such as Etihad Airways, Emirates, and many more, their biggest source of revenue is from international flights. Etihad Airways has made plans for operating international flights from August. In its list of many countries, India also features. The Abu Dhabi based air carrier has decided that it will also fly to its Indian destinations. But the only issue is India at the first place needs to reopen its international routes again. Without that, Etihad Airways or any other International airline won’t be able to fly into Indian air space.
Etihad Airways Planning for Flying Up to 58 Destinations Worldwide
Etihad Airways has included 58 global destinations in its list. The airline wants to restart the international flights worldwide from July itself. But all of this depends on the different countries relaxing rules for international flights. The airline has planned to operate flights to major gateways in North America, Europe, Australia, Asia, and the Middle East.
The airline has plans for operating at least 45% of their pre-COVID19 capacity. Tony Douglas, Group Chief Executive Officer of Etihad Aviation Group confirmed the news. Etihad Airways has shifted its priorities to build back its old network of flights. Until now, the airline has been operating cargo flights, special passenger flights and humanitarian flights. But now, Etihad Airways is working to go back to its routine operations.

International Flights For India Might Restart in August
Etihad Airways plans for India might just see the light of the day. International flights in India might restart from August. No confirmed date has been announced yet. The international flights in India might start in a phased manner initially. For the unaware, Visa application process has been resumed in India. These are for some specific countries only for now. Many of the International embassies set up in India have approved for the visa application. Countries such as the US and Canada are yet to resume visa for Indians.
