According to a report from Moneycontrol, Flybig has plans for gradually increasing its flight operations in the country. As mentioned above, the airline will start flying in the Indore-Ahmedabad route initially. This flight will operate thrice a week according to the CEO of Flybig.

But from mid-February, the number of flights will increase to 5 times a week. Later this month, on January 13, 2021, the airline will also add Indore-Raipur route in its portfolio. Further, Flybig will also add Ahmedabad-Bhopal route in its network of flights.

The airline has plans of operating daily flights in these three Tier-2 cities by the end of March 2021. For operating these flights, Flybig has an ATR aircraft. The airline is going to get another such aircraft soon.

The CEO of Flybig, Srinivas Rao, said that the interest shown by passengers has been good. Almost 25% of seats have already been sold, and the bookings opened only 2 days back. For promoting its business, Flybig will has partnered with 15,000 agents out of which maximum of them live in the Tier-2 cities of the country.

In its next phase of plans, Flybig will also add Jabalpur to its portfolio of flight networks. Whether or not the airline will be successful in the long-term, that remains to be seen. But it is certainly a bold move to start operations in the middle of an ongoing pandemic.
