Ginger, operated by Roots Corporation Limited which is a subsidiary of The Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL) has announced the signing of a new hotel in Punjab. Ginger being the company's lean luxe segment brand, the new hotel signed will also be around the same design philosophy of seamlessness. The expansions are a part of the company's Aspiration 2022 aggressive strategy plans.

Location, Property & Facilities:
The 130 room Ginger Aero City, Amritsar will be located in Splendor Aero city with proximity to the airport. The other facilities include an all-day dinner and bar, meeting rooms and a fitness centre. This hotel is slated to commence operations in the year 2022, while the Ginger 371-room flagship in Santacruz, Mumbai is planned to open in April 2022.
