GoAir Adds Bangkok, Dubai and Kuwait to Its International Destinations

GoAir plans to commence new services to seven international routes between Mumbai - Abu Dhabi; Delhi - Abu Dhabi; Mumbai – Muscat; Delhi – Bangkok; Kannur - Dubai; Kannur – Kuwait; and Mumbai – Bangkok. The daily services will begin from 19 July 2019 onwards.

The network expansion is in sync with our vision to expand our footprint in strategic markets and to grow our business profitably. This time we are entering new destinations - Kuwait, Dubai and Bangkok and we intend to continue the momentum shortly,” Jeh Wadia, Managing Director, GoAir said.

Among the newly announced routes, the services to Bangkok, Dubai and Kuwait are new markets for GoAir. GoAir provides services to Abu Dhabi and Muscat from Kannur. The carrier flies to Phuket and Maldives from Bengaluru, Delhi and Mumbai. The services to the Maldives are seasonal and hence, currently on hold. The new seven services now await authority approval. The flight tickets begin from INR 8299.

GoAir is the aviation wing of Wadia Group that follows a low-cost airline business model. The airline has flown over 72 million passengers since its inception and has kept the target to achieve 100 million passengers mark in the next two years.  Its fleet consists of Airbus A320s aircraft and provides services to 24 domestic destinations.
