GoAir is introducing a new night flight between Delhi and Patna from August 15, 2019. The plane G8 787/792 will connect Patna-Delhi-Hyderabad-Kolkata-Hyderabad-Delhi-Patna route till the commencement of the winter schedule in October 2019. The flight operates in the night hours and will reach Patna at 10.50 pm. The return flight will be at 6.30 am the next day.
According to an unnamed GoAir executive, arrangements are made at the Patna airport for the maintenance of the aircraft during the night hours. The disposal of toilet waste will be done at the dumping pit constructed last year when IndiGo started its operation between Patna and Bengaluru. Provisions for dumping other waste will also be made.
GoAir Flights to Bangkok
In another development, GoAir has announced daily direct flights to Bangkok from Mumbai and Delhi. The Mumbai-Bangkok flight will leave at 1:45 pm from Mumbai and will arrive in Bangkok at 7:55 pm. The return journey flight will depart from Bangkok at 8:55 pm and will arrive in Mumbai at 11:30 pm. The ticket fare starts at Rs 8,499 on this route.
The Delhi-Bangkok flight, on the other hand, will leave from Delhi at 7:15 am and will land in Bangkok at 1:00 pm. The Bangkok-Delhi flight will take off from Delhi at 2:00 pm and will arrive in Bangkok at 4:25 pm. The ticket fare on this route starts at Rs 8,199. GoAir on its Twitter also announced the flag-off of this flight today. The first GoAir flight from Mumbai to Bangkok took off today.
As an introductory offer, GoAir has waived the convenience fee for travellers booking the ticket through GoAir website. The offer is available for travel before September 30, 2019.
GoAir was on a slew of expansions last month. It introduced daily direct flights to Abu Dhabi from Mumbai and Delhi from July 19, 2019. The airline is offering tickets at an introductory fare of Rs 7,799. For Mumbai to Abu Dhabi, the fares are starting from Rs 8,299.
