One of the cheapest airlines in India, GoAir is protecting its customers booking during the time of the global pandemic. The budget carrier has released a statement saying that customers who book their tickets within March 19, 2020, and April 30, 2020 period will get to benefit from the credit scheme of the airline. In an earlier statement, the airline had reserved the credit scheme only for passengers who booked their travel until the date April 15, 2020. GoAir flight credits will have a validity of up to one year. The customer has to use his/her original PNR to redeem the flight credits.
Customers Not Showing Up Eligible To Receive Credits As Well
There may be people who don’t show up for their flights even after the lockdown is removed. This is why the GoAir flight credits scheme is also applicable for the customers who don't show up for their flight. The credits are not only for customers who didn’t get to board the flight during the lockdown but also for people who don’t show up at all fearing they might get exposed to the coronavirus. Detail to remember is that this credit scheme is only available for people who have booked their flights until April 30, 2020.
How Does A Customer Redeem The Credits?
The credits are available for the customer to use for a period of one year. If you don’t show up, the PNR of your ticket will automatically be protected and be available for you to use up to a period of one year from the date of your original booking. For redeeming the GoAir flight credits, all you have to do is go to the website or the mobile application and then under the ‘Manage Booking’ option, you will be able to see the PNR of your original booking. You can use this PNR, and the fare with which it is credited only once and any difference in fares will be applicable.
