GoAir Flight Protocols After The Lockdown Lifts

Web Stories

GoAir flight protocols are something to look at. They are maybe a hint of what’s coming next with every other airline. GoAir recently said that it is going to resume operations post lockdown on May 4, 2020, if the government allows so. But moving ahead, the airline will start the check-in process three hours prior the departure times. Along with this, there will be new rules for boarding aircraft as well. The airline has said that the passengers will board row-wise and the first row people will enter first. The middle seats will be vacant in the aircraft as well.

GoAir Is Strictly Following Protocols From DGCA

DGCA has some protocols in place which every airline will need to follow once normal commercial operations resume. Similar protocols were requested by the CISF from the aviation ministry as well. The airline also took some additional decisions to ensure that the airport staff, crew and the passengers are safe. GoAir is strictly following protocols from DGCA (Directorate General of Civil Aviation) and is going to enforce social distancing at the airports and flights. The seats will be cleaned extensively after every flight, and the overall aircraft will be cleaned in more frequent intervals.

GoAir In-Flight Meals To Stop Temporarily

Recently, IndiGo announced that it is going to stop onboard meals for some time. Now GoAir has declared this as well. The airline will only provide its passengers with water. The idea behind this is to limit the interaction between the crew and passengers. Whenever the flight crew is interacting with a passenger, they will be wearing face masks, and the seat pockets will be cleared after each flight and sanitised to ensure maximum safety for passengers onboard. GoAir has also extended the validity of its ‘Protect Your PNR’ scheme until May 3, 2020.
