GoAir Flight from Kannur to Dubai to Take Off Today

Wadia Group owned low-cost airline, GoAir had announced the start of its new route connecting the newly functional airport of Kannur directly to Dubai. With this new flight which GoAir has announced the Kannur International Airport will be directly connected to Dubai starting Thursday. It is worth noting that Kannur International Airport is the fourth and newest airport in the South Indian state of Kerala.

Expats to Have Easy Access to Dubai Route 

The crucial thing to note is that Kerala is the home to 1 million UAE residents and as such, this new flight from Kannur to UAE will ease travel concerns for the expats living in the state. For Dubai residents, the flight will cost Dh335. As per Ixigo, the flight fare for the upcoming Kannur and Dubai GoAir flights were pegged around Rs 9,900. According to the schedule of the flight noted by GoAir, Flight G8 57 from Kannur to Dubai will depart at 19:05 and arrives at 21:55. Return flight from Dubai G8 58 will depart at 00:20 and arrive in Kannur at 05:35.

GoAir Partners Up with Al Naboodah Travel and Tourism Agencies 

Managing director of GoAir, Jeh Wadia remarked about the launch of this new route, “At GoAir, we would like to take this opportunity to thank the Government of UAE as well as Dubai Civil Aviation Authority for making this happen.” Along with this, the executive also thanked the airline’s partners in various emirates, Dubai Airports and Emirates Ground and Maintenance Services. GoAir has partnered with Al Naboodah Travel and Tourism Agencies LLC for the Dubai operations.

It is worth noting that GoAir is the fastest-growing airline in India and recently the airline has launched new routes including Delhi-Abu Dhabi, Mumbai-Abu Dhabi, Mumbai-Muscat, Delhi-Bangkok and Kannur-Kuwait. The airline is on a growth spree lately and recently it has taken the delivery of its 51st aircraft. The airline has also shared plans of launching new routes to Cambodia, Vietnam and Bhutan.
