Wadia Group owned low-cost carrier, GoAir has today announced the launch of new international routes. The new GoAir flights announced will fly to Singapore. The routes which GoAir has announced for these new flights include Kolkata-Singapore and Bengaluru-Singapore. The routes will start on October 18, 2019, and the all-inclusive fares announced by GoAir for these routes will be under Rs 6,999. As per the information charted out on the GoAir website, the Bengaluru-Singapore flight will be operational on Sunday, Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Whereas, the flights on the Kolkata-Singapore route would be operational on Sunday, Wednesday and Friday.

It is worth noting that the competition in the civil aviation market has sprouted in recent times. Especially with the exit of JetAirways and low-cost carriers occupying a disproportionate share of the market, there is a solid rivalry between airlines for the most number of routes and a massive network spanning more cities.
As per the schedule charted out by GoAir, the flight from Bengaluru to Singapore will leave at 07:45 PM on Sundays, Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Whereas, the return flight from Singapore to Bengaluru will take off at 04:50 AM and it will fly on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. On the other hand, the Kolkata to Bengaluru flight which will fly on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday will take off at 08:45 PM and the return flight from Singapore to Kolkata will take off from Singapore at 04:50 AM and it will fly on Sunday, Wednesday and Friday.

Air India and SpiceJet also Gear Up
It is worth noting that other airlines like Air India have also announced the start of new routes which include a Mumbai-Nairobi flight, and a new Delhi-Doha flight which will commence operations on October 29, 2019. SpiceJet has also announced the start of 46 new flights on its domestic network.
