Since the government has suggested the entire nation to follow social distancing norms, Hyderabad International Airport is making all the necessary arrangements to encourage social distancing around the Airport premises. All the major stakeholders and partners are working on the structure to create a safe environment and make every place safe for the passengers. Since Air travel is banned until May 03, 2020, Hyderabad International Airport is planning all the safety measure, which will ensure passenger safety after the domestic and international flight operations resume.

Regular Sanitization of High Contact Surfaces at Hyderabad International Airport

Hyderabad International Airport has deployed 100 professionals to sanitize the entire premises of the Airport in the lockdown period. Also, the Airport officials will regularly disinfect the high contact surfaces such as desks, chairs, elevator, trays, baggage, railings and many more. To ensure complete safety, Hyderabad Airport has strategically placed sanitizers around the terminals so that passengers will be able to sanitize themselves at frequent intervals.

Physical Contact with Airport Staff Will be Reduced at Hyderabad International Airport

To reduce physical contact, Hyderabad International Airport has installed transparent shields at all the counters to reduce close interaction and maintain a healthy distance between passengers and frontline Airport Staff. To avoid physical exchange and encourage social distancing, the boarding card and bag tag dispensers in all the check-in counters will be made accessible to passengers directly which will eliminate the need of physical interaction for sharing necessary documents. Also, all the Airport staff will undergo thermal screening, and It will be mandatory for all the Airport staff to wear adequate protective equipment such as masks and gloves. Not only this, but Airport staff will also frequently sanitize themselves while coming in close proximity of passengers.
