The two telecom companies, Airtel and Jio, are attracting potential users as they start to cover all of the major cities and business hubs. High-speed connectivity is already starting to be seen at several airports in India, though there is still a long way to go before 5G is spread throughout the country. 1. Indira Gandhi International Airport – New Delhi
Indira Gandhi International Airport in Delhi, India's busiest and biggest airport, is now 5G-capable. Passengers with 5G-capable smartphones can use this service at Terminal 3's Domestic Departure dock and International Arrival baggage area, as well as from T3 Arrivals to Multi-Level Car Parking (MLCP). The Delhi airport was the first to announce its readiness with 5G infrastructure installed at core places even before the 5G rollout announcement.

2. Kempegowda International Airport – Bengaluru
The Kempegowda International Airport T2 in Bengaluru also offers 5G service to passengers. Customers with 5G-capable devices can connect to the network by using their current data subscriptions. According to Airtel, upgrading the SIM is not really essential because the present Airtel 4G SIM already supports 5G.

3. Lohegaon Airport – Pune
Additionally, the Pune Lohegaon Airport now offers 5G services. It is the first Airport in the state to offer 5G services to its passengers. All areas of the airport complex, including the boarding gates, lounges, immigration booths, belts for baggage claim, security checkpoints, and parking lots, have access to the 5G Network.

4. Lal Bahadur Shastri International Airport – Varanasi
The Lal Bahadur Shastri International Airport in Varanasi is now the first airport in Uttar Pradesh to provide lightning-fast 5G services. The service has been extended to the airport by Airtel. For the service to work, passengers need a 5G-capable phone and an active Airtel 4G SIM card with a data plan.

5. Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar International Airport – Nagpur
The Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar International Airport in Nagpur has surpassed Mumbai International Airport to become Maharashtra's first airport to offer 5G connectivity. For the time being, only Airtel customers with a 5G-capable phone and an active 4G SIM card with a functional data plan can use the service.
