A while back, IndiGo announced the 6E Rewards Ka-Ching credit cards in association with the HDFC Bank. Two cards were launched, namely, ‘6E Rewards’ and ‘6E Rewards XL’. These cards offered customers 6E Rewards whenever they made a purchase through them. The difference between both the cards was the kind of benefits they came with. The IndiGo 6E Rewards Ka-Ching card was launched for a yearly fee of Rs 700, while the 6E Rewards XL Ka-Ching card was launched for a yearly fee of Rs 2,500. IndiGo 6E Rewards Ka-Ching HDFC Bank Cards Can be Obtained for free, Here is How!

When you go to the offer page of IndiGo where both the cards are available to be bought, you will see a paid amount option and a free option to obtain the card. Note that this free annual fee offer for a lifetime is only applicable for people who apply for the card between the period November 13, 2020, to December 31, 2020.

If your application is successful, you will get either of the cards you applied for free. It won’t be free for just one year but all the subsequent years after as well. However, you will have to pay other charges related to the card if any.

But when you get the IndiGo 6E Rewards and 6E Rewards XL Ka-Ching HDFC Bank credit card for free, the benefits of the card reduce for you. For example, people who pay Rs 2,500 for the 6E Rewards XL Ka-Ching card annually will get an air ticket free up to Rs 3,000. However, people who get it for free will not get an air ticket free at all.

Also, people who pay an annual fee for their cards also get domestic airport lounge access, but people who get it for free won’t be allowed access. Even the 6E Prime add-on offer will be excluded for the free cards. 

Apart from that, the earnings of 6E Rewards as cashback points won’t be different at all.
