India’s number one low-cost carrier, IndiGo has recently announced the new flights which will connect India from Dhaka. Apart from Sunday, the airline would operate flights from India to Dhaka regularly from different destinations. IndiGo will operate a total of 12 weekly flights between Dhaka and India. The airline will start the service to Dhaka from November 4, 2020. The first flight to depart for Dhaka will take off from the Kolkata airport and then on the same day will also fly back to Kolkata, India. More details on the story ahead.
IndiGo Flights to Dhaka to Start from November 4, 2020
As mentioned above, IndiGo is going to operate a total of 12 weekly flights between Dhaka and India. The three destinations from India, the airline, is going to fly to/from Dhaka are Delhi, Chennai, and Kolkata. The first flight service which will start from November 4, 2020, will take off from the Kolkata airport at 11:45 AM and arrive at the Dhaka airport at 01:30 PM. Then on the same day, the same aircraft will fly from Dhaka at 2:30 PM and arrive at the Kolkata airport at 3:15 PM. IndiGo will operate these flights between Kolkata and Dhaka three time a week on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.
Starting November 5, 2020, IndiGo will also connect Chennai and Dhaka. An IndiGo flight from Chennai will depart for Dhaka at 10:15 AM and will reach Dhaka airport at 1:30 PM. On the same day, IndiGo will fly back from Dhaka at 2:30 PM and reach Chennai airport at 4:45 PM. This flight between Chennai and Dhaka will operate only once a week on Thursday.
Then from November 7, 2020, IndiGo will also start flying between Delhi and Dhaka. The first flight between the route will, of course, take off from Delhi at 10:40 AM and reach Dhaka airport at 1:30 PM. Then on the same day, IndiGo will fly back from Dhaka at 2:30 PM and arrive at the Delhi airport at 4:45 PM. IndiGo will operate the flight between Delhi and Dhaka two times a week on Tuesday and Saturday.
