Web Stories

IndiGo has been one of the most beloved carriers of Indian aviation. To ensure passengers enjoy a comfortable and hassle-free journey, the airline offers a variety of add-on services such as 6E Prime, Lounge Services, Fast Forward, many more. And now IndiGo has partnered with HDFC bank to launch its first travel credit card – 'Ka-ching' - powered by Mastercard to give customers a true airline offering where all the spends get converted into IndiGo flights. The introduction of the co-branded card comes at a time when customers are looking for something similar to the JetPrivilege program. The 6E Rewards card launched in two variants - 6E Rewards and 6E Rewards XL seems to offer varied benefits and unmatched rewards to the card-holders keen on domestic or international travel.

What is 6E Rewards Program?

6E Rewards Program is a rewards program by IndiGo linked to a co-branded card - Ka-ching card - wherein members can earn 6E Rewards by using their co-branded card on IndiGo and other merchants and redeem the 6E Rewards for 6E Rewards' Benefits. 6E Rewards is not a frequent flier program but is a rewards program connected to a co-branded card by HDFC, here in the current offering.

Invite-Only Program:

For now, 6E Rewards is an invite-only program just like how Amazon co-branded ICICI card was launched in the Indian Market. This not only helps the company to assess the demand, tweak the offerings, align any technical glitches but also to enhance the consumer experience by bringing in more services, partners and benefits on board. While the company gets to select customers who are potential users to avail the services, customers also feel privileged in chosen invite programs.

Why 6E Rewards?

Earn: When you fly with IndiGo or when you shop, dine & more on ground
Redeem: No restriction or blackout dates on redemptions.
1 6E Rewards = 1 INR
Fly: Convert all your spends into IndiGo flights

Redemption of 6E Rewards:

6E Rewards are valid for 24 months from the date of accrual on a 'first in first out basis'. The rewards may be redeemed by a member online by logging into his or her membership account. Prior to any such redemption, customers must ensure that they have completed the mobile number and email address verification process. The Rewards redemption will carry a service or redemption fee and applicable taxes per Government regulations.

Key Benefits Overview:

With 6E Rewards and 6E XL Rewards card customers get 1 complimentary IndiGo base fare ticket voucher worth Rs 1,500 and Rs 3,000 respectively when they make 3 transactions or more in each of the first 3 months after the card is set up. So, it appears that the complimentary IndiGo air ticket in each card segment will be available to customer post making minimum 9 transactions (min 3 transactions each in * first 3 months).

Lounge Access: Customer needs to swipe 6E Rewards XL – IndiGo HDFC Bank Credit Card to avail the complimentary lounge access and a transaction of Rs 2 will be charged to customer's Credit Card for the Lounge Access. Please be noted 6E Rewards will be accrued for a minimum transaction of Rs 100. For higher value of transactions, 6E Rewards will be calculated in multiples of Rs 100, thereof.

Dining Access: Customers of 6E Rewards program - IndiGo HDFC Bank Credit Card can also experience the Good Food Trail Dining program at premium restaurants across top cities.
