India’s international airline Jet Airways has announced an all-inclusive holiday package to visit Meghalaya from Bengaluru via JetEscapes Holidays. There are two options to choose from – three-night/four-day Shillong-Guwahati holiday; or a four-night/five-day visit to Shillong-Cherrapunjee Guwahati.
The package to Shillong-Guwahati starts at Rs. 34,160 for its standard option. There is also an expensive option at Rs. 36,080. For Northeast With Cherrapunjee (4N/5D) trip, the fare starts at Rs. 38,660 for standard and Rs. 43,090 for deluxe. The packages are inclusive of return economy fare (inclusive of taxes), airport transfers, and three-star hotel accommodation with breakfast and sight-seeing. The guests can customise the package according to their requirements.

Offering direct connectivity between Bengaluru and Guwahati, Jet Airway’s 9W-659 operates on a daily frequency. The package includes a visit to Umiam Lake, Nohkalikai Falls; Seven Sisters falls, Mawsmai caves and Elephanta falls. They can also visit the Kamakhya Temple and Umananda Temple or Tawang monastery, the largest in India and the second-largest after the Potala Palace in Lhasa, Tibet.

Jet Airways’ 9W-659 departs Bengaluru at 10.10am every day and arrives in Guwahati at 1.20 pm. The return journey departs from Guwahati at 5.20pm, and arrives back at Bengaluru at 8.25 pm the same evening.
