Between February 7th and March 31st, the runway at Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport will remain closed affecting a lot of flights on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.

After Vistara’s announcement of non-operational flights at Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport (CSIA) Mumbai, Jet Airways is another carrier which has come forward announcing its non-operational flights between February 7th and March 31st. To recall, CSIA Mumbai has announced that its runway will remain closed three days a week on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, from 1100hrs and 1700hrs from February 7th and March 31st. This means that a lot of travellers boarding their flights from Mumbai or travelling to Mumbai will face inconvenience as a lot of flights will be cancelled. Previously, Vistara announced the cancellation of a lot of its Delhi-Mumbai flights. Jet Airways, will, however, have to cancel even more flights.
Between December 21st and March 30th 2019, Jet Airways will also operate new flights between Port Blair and Chennai. Flight number 9W 613, from Chennai to Port Blair and flight number 9W 614 from Port Blair Chennai will be specially flying for this period only.
As for the cancelled flights, many select flights including the ones coming and going from Bahrain, flights between Thiruvananthapuram and Bengaluru, between Mumbai and Lucknow, Bengaluru-Pune, Delhi-Pune, Bengaluru-Coimbatore, Chennai-Bengaluru, Bengaluru-Hyderabad, Delhi-Guwahati, Delhi-Lucknow, Delhi-Chennai have been reported to be non-operational by Jet Airways official website.
