With a view of intensifying their domestic network, Jet Airways, India’s premier airline, is set to unveil 28 new flights in the coming month. These new flights, including industry-firsts, would be a mix of non-stop and one-stop flights increasing domestic connectivity and quenching the rising demand for domestic and international air travel in emerging cities. The airline informed that it would commence flights between Chandigarh and Lucknow, Ahmedabad and Jodhpur, and, Vadodara and Jaipur. The new flight operations would also help connect guests with other cities as well as airline’s global networks via its hubs in Delhi, Mumbai and Bengaluru.
Jet Airways New-Flight Operations and Industry-Firsts
In a series of industry-firsts, Jet Airways would introduce a series of daily flights connecting Indore, the largest city of Madhya Pradesh to Jodhpur, Vadodara and Jaipur becoming the first airline to operate flights between these routes, hence improving connectivity with its robust networks connecting North India and Central as well as western India. Other notable industry-firsts include flight operations between Chandigarh and Lucknow, Ahmedabad and Jodhpur as well as Vadodara and Jaipur.
In addition to the new routes, the airline would also be improving their existing networks by introducing additional frequency on some of its key-routes such as Mumbai-Guwahati and Delhi-Bagdogra. The airline would also be commencing one-stop flights between Mumbai-Bagdogra and New Delhi-Guwahati routes.
Some more network enhancements include non-stop flights connecting Bengaluru with Lucknow, Indore with Kolkata, Kolkata with Chandigarh, Coimbatore with Hyderabad, Visakhapatnam with Mumbai and Delhi.
The city of Indore is fast-emerging as a key pillar in the pan-India network due to its central location and expanding infrastructure. Jet Airways is all set to strengthen its connectivity with Indore by facilitating non-stop connectivity from Indore to markets and mini-metros such as Ahmadabad, Jaipur, Vadodara, Jodhpur, Allahabad, Chandigarh, Lucknow, Nagpur and Pune. The airline is also all ready to provide non-stop connectivity to major metro cities such as Kolkata, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Delhi and Bengaluru connecting the network traffic seamlessly to its international networks.
The airline’s new flight operations across the domestic sector would not only promote travel but also stimulate business and economic activities in each of these cities.
