NPCI teams up with Yatra.com, SBI Card to launch the ‘Yatra SBI Card’

On the RuPay network, the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) has teamed with Yatra.com and SBI Card to develop a co-branded 'Yatra SBI Card.'

According to the press release, the card offers exclusive travel advantages on purchasing flights and hotels six times a year. Users of this card will receive Yatra.com coupons worth $8,250 as a welcome onboarding gift. The coupon may be used to buy flight tickets, hotel reservations, and other services on Yatra.com, the statement added.

Travellers will get 6 reward points for every $100 spent on department stores, groceries, dining, movies, entertainment, and foreign travel when they use the new card. It also includes a complimentary 50 lakh air accident insurance policy. Customers can also get a 1% fuel fee waiver with the card. According to the press release, if the user spends more than $1 lakh on the card in a year, the yearly charge would be waived.
