In a bid to make travelling more convenient and easy for its smartphone users, OnePlus is now providing charging stations inside the Indian airports. A lot of frequent travellers and vloggers use their smartphones quite extensively. So if you are one of those and you carry a OnePlus smartphone, you don’t need to worry about finding a switch at the airport and plugging-in your charger for charging your device anymore. You can instead utilise the OnePlus charging station present inside the airports for a faster and more convenient charging experience. More details ahead.
OnePlus Charging Station Live in Bangalore Airport Now
The Charging station of OnePlus is now live at the airport of Bangalore. It is worth noting that Bangalore is the only airport in the country which has the charging station present and in service at the moment. The Indira Gandhi International (IGI) airport, Delhi, is also expected to get the charging station very soon.
Adding to this, India is the first country in the world where OnePlus provides such a charging base or station to its users. Whenever you reach an airport (for now Bangalore only), your OnePlus device will notify you about the charging base or station closest to your location. It will even show the amount of distance you are away from the charging station.
OnePlus will allow users to turn down the notifications for up to 6 hours when you are inside the airport if notifications bother you much. It will be interesting to see and experience how OnePlus enables users to charge their smartphones inside the airport through the Warp Charge technology.
If it indeed works the same way and offers the same speed as does the Warp Charger, it will be a very beneficial thing for the OnePlus users who travel very frequently throughout India via flights. More Indian airports apart from Bangalore and Delhi are soon going to get these charging stations for OnePlus soon. OnePlus hasn’t given any more details about the charging base/station.
