<h2><strong>Qatar Airways and IndiGo Partnership: What It Means to Domestic Airline?</strong></h2>
Qatar Airways has been trying to establish a partnership with IndiGo for a while now. However, IndiGo affirmed in August 2019 that it's not looking for any partnership with an international airline. That said, the InterGlobe Aviation-owned airline has set some overseas ambitions and this collaboration with Qatar Airways will improve traffic for <a href="https://aviationscoop.com/indigo-promise-cover/10581/amp">IndiGo</a>.

Under this partnership, Qatar Airways will place its code on IndiGo flights between Doha-Hyderabad, Doha-Mumbai and Doha-Delhi flights. Besides the codeshare agreement, there's nothing announced by both the airlines today. Rumours were rife that Qatar Airways might acquire some stake in IndiGo, but there's nothing as such. "Qatar Airways will place its code on IndiGo operated flights between the said destinations," filed <strong>IndiGo</strong> in BSE.

The partnership will only boost IndiGo's international traffic and it's the main motive to partner with Qatar Airways.

To recall, IndiGo already has a codeshare agreement in place with Turkish Airlines. The partnership which was established at the end of 2018 helped IndiGo to establish itself in the international market. The codeshare between the IndiGo and Turkish Airlines provide customers with the simplicity of purchasing connecting flights using one reservation, and a smooth ticketing, check-in, boarding and baggage check experience during the entire journey.
