Qatar Airways Becomes the Only Middle-East Carrier Flying to San Francisco

Qatar Airways recently announced its fifth new destination of 2020, San Francisco. The airline is working on expanding its routes and also rebuild its network across the US and the globe. Now Qatar Airways will be flying four flights every week to San Francisco. It has made the airline the only carrier in the middle-east to fly to the particular destination. The service for this fifth new destination will start from December 15, 2020. Qatar Airways is also going to be offering passengers Super Wi-Fi broadband internet flying to/from San Francisco. Qatar Airways Now Flying to San Francisco

Qatar Airways is going to be using its Airbus A350-900 for flying to San Francisco. The aircraft has 36 award-winning Qsuite Business Class seats and 247 Economy Class seats. Along with that, the passengers will also get Super Wi-Fi broadband internet until January 2021 for free.



Mr Akbar Al Baker, Qatar Airways Group Cheif Executive said, “We are thrilled to welcome San Francisco as our newest destination, and our ninth current gateway in the U.S. As we navigate the crisis, we have made it a priority to not only reinstate our existing destinations and be the airline travellers can rely on, but to also grow our network and increase connectivity with new and relevant destinations for our customers to enjoy.”

The Business Class configuration for this flight will be 1-2-1. All the seats are distanced quite substantially so social distancing can be maintained inside the plane. For the unaware, Qatar Airways is already flying to 8 other destinations in the US. These destinations include — Chicago, Boston, Houston, Dallas-Fort Worth, New York, Los Angeles, Washington D.C, Philadelphia, and now San Francisco, the ninth one.

Another positive for the airline would be that now it will have a new cargo network with the opening of San Francisco route. Meanwhile, Qatar Airways has also extended its Flexible booking offer for the passengers until December 31, 2020. So now the passengers of the airline can book flight tickets without a lot of worries.
