Adding another feather to the cap, Qatar Airways received the 2021 Airline Passenger Experience Association’s (APEX) Five Star Global Official Airline Rating. The APEX Award Ceremony will be held during the FTE APEX Virtual Expo.
Qatar Airways Group Chief Executive Akbar Al Baker expressed his happiness over receiving the recognition and thanked its passengers who voted for the company. “To have been recognised as a five-star global airline yet again is a tremendous achievement for Qatar Airways and is proof of the great heights to which we have soared during the past year. Such accomplishments push us to continue innovating and redefining the passenger experience,” he said.
APEX Official Airline Ratings are created based on neutral, third-party passenger feedback and insights gathered through a travel organising app. Using a five-star scale, nearly one million flights were rated by passengers across more than 600 airlines worldwide. The APEX Official Airline Ratings are certified by a professional external auditing company.
