Here is an exciting chance for people to dine on Singapore Airlines’ Airbus A380 Superjumbos, the world’s largest passenger aircraft!
Dubbed as ‘Restaurant A380 @ Changi’, the customers can book and enjoy a dining experience inside Airbus A380. The booking for this temporary restaurant starts on October 12, 2020. The dining will be operational on October 24-25, 2020.
The dining experience comprises of international cuisine and dishes from a special Peranakan menu specially designed by Singaporean chef Shermay Lee. The diners may also book for a pre-lunch tour of A380. The diners who wear traditional attire would get KrisShop discounts, a limited edition goodie bag and other gifts.
Singapore Airlines A380 Training Facility Tour
Another set of experience planned is coming in November during the school holidays, where Singapore Airlines invites families for a visit to training facilities. The visitors will get a chance to explore the seven decades of airlines’ history, chance to interact with discover the cabin crew of the flights and their training. Adults can even try operating a full flight simulator and taste in-flight wine labels.

There is a wide array of activities planned for children as well. Craft activities such as balloon sculpting, making batik roses and role play as cabin crew are a few among them.
Singapore Airlines’ A380 Dining Experience at Home
Titled as SIA@Home, the experience would allow diners to enjoy SIA in-flight dining experience in the comfort of their own home. They can choose from 10 menus featuring first-class and business class meals, including wine or champagne. The cabin crew concierge service for SIA@Home bookings opens on 5 October 2020.
People can book for the experiences via the KrisShop website. KrisFlyer members can redeem their miles to pay for these experiences or earn miles on their purchases. SIA assures that all protocols are put in place to ensure the health and safety of all customers.
The activities are designed for frequent flyers who miss our world-class in-cabin products and service, to couples and families who want an exclusive dining experience, and parents who are after an enjoyable activity-filled day with their children during the school holidays said SIA Chief Executive Officer Mr Goh Choon Phong.
The booking for Singapore Airlines’ Tour Facility will open on November 1, 2020, and the same will be held on 21, 22, 28 and 29 November 2020.
