SpiceJet has just announced new international flights to Dhaka from three cities of India. These three cities are - Kolkata, Chennai, and Delhi. What’s interesting to note is that IndiGo also launched International flights to Dhaka from these cities of India only. SpiceJet will start its flights to Dhaka from November 5, 2020, whereas IndiGo has already started flying to Dhaka from today, i.e, November 4, 2020. SpiceJet Will Fly to Dhaka Directly From Delhi, Chennai, and Kolkata
SpiceJet is going to be operating direct flights from Delhi, Chennai, and Kolkata to Dhaka 6 days a week. The airline will operate a total of 18 weekly flights between India and Bangladesh. The first flight will take off on November 5 from Kolkata at 10:05 AM and arrive Dhaka at 11:45 AM. Fare for this flight is set at Rs 4,638 and it will operate three days a week - Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.
The return flight from Dhaka will take off on the same day at 12:30 PM and arrive Kolkata at 1:10 PM. It will operate on the same days as well and the fare set for this flight is Rs 5,478. There is another flight from Kolkata which will operate on Thursday but at a different time on the same route. This particular flight will take off from Kolkata at 10:40 AM and arrive Dhaka at 12:20 PM and the fare set for this flight is Rs 4,638. The return flight from Dhaka will take off at 1:20 PM and arrive Kolkata at 1:50 PM. Fare set for this flight is Rs 5,478.
From Delhi, SpiceJet will operate the first flight to Dhaka on November 5 as well. This flight will operate on Thursday and Sunday every week. The flight will take off from Delhi at 7 AM and arrive Dhaka at 9:50 AM. Fare set for this flight is Rs 7,749. The return flight will take off from Dhaka at 10:50 AM and arrive Delhi at 12:50 PM on the same days. Fare set for this flight is Rs 10,135.
There will be three flights between Chennai and Dhaka. SpiceJet will operate these flights on Tuesday, Friday, and Sunday every week. However, flights from Chennai will start from November 6, a day later than both Kolkata and Delhi. The flight from Chennai will take off at 6:15 AM and arrive Dhaka at 9:25 AM. Fare set for this flight is Rs 5,128 The return flight will take place on the same days and will take off from Dhaka at 10:25 AM and arrive Chennai at 12:35 PM. Fare set for this flight is Rs 7,308.
