In the Aviation sector, all the airlines have been following strict guidelines which have been rolled out by the government to ensure the safety of passengers while travelling. Recently, to ensure that passengers feel extra safe while travelling, major airlines in India such as IndiGo, GoAir and Vistara is offering two seats to a single passenger to maintain social distancing. Now, the second-largest airline of India SpiceJet has also announced SpiceJet Extra Seats where it will allow the passengers to book two seats or even entire row to make their air travel safe and promote social distancing. The low-cost airline revealed the information through its official Twitter account.

How to Book SpiceJet Extra Seats?

In order to book SpiceJet Extra Seats, passengers will have to book their flight tickets with SpiceJet. While booking, passengers will have to select a Window/Aisle seat which has vacant seats adjacent to it from the seat map page. In case if the passengers want to book the entire row, they will have to choose a window/aisle seat and book both the seats adjacent to it. Once the payment is successfully completed, passengers will get the extra seat added to their PNR.

Domestic aviation operations were suspended by the government to ensure the safety of passengers from the deadly virus. Now, the low-cost airline, SpiceJet has also joined other airlines. The major reason behind the new offers by airlines, wherein allowing passengers to book two seats is social distancing. With two seats booked together, all the airlines will ensure a safer and comfortable journey to passengers amid challenging times.
