SpiceJet is offering cheap domestic fares starting at Rs 939. The airline has begun selling flight tickets and will resume commercial operations once the lockdown is over. The scheduled date for the 21-day lockdown to be over is on April 14, 2020, and post that day airlines are free to fly passenger planes. As of now, there is no clarity from the government about whether the lockdown will be extended or not. If it does, then all the bookings of the airline will be cancelled automatically, and credit shells for the customers will be made. The airline won't be offering refunds to its customers.
Discounts On Add-On Services
Along with offering cheap fares, SpiceJet is also offering discounts on add-on services. The concerned add-ons with discounts are - SpiceMAX seats, preferred seats and meals. The discount will be levied only if you book directly from the website of the airline or through its mobile application. For booking with the site, you will get a discount of 25%, and with the app, you will get 30%.
What You Should Know About The Offer
SpiceJet is offering discounts to only those customers who are using the discount coupon codes. The codes are - 'ADDON25' for the website and 'ADDON30' for the app. The add-on discounts are available for both one-way and round-trip domestic travel. Also, people booking through this offer are allowed to reschedule their flight only once for free till September 30, 2020, and any difference in fares will be applicable. SpiceJet has not been sitting idle at the time of lockdown; it has been flying cargo throughout India. Recently, the airline used passenger seats to transport cargo, and it was the first time in the history of India that any such event took place. The sale is only open till April 12, 2020, and valid till February 28, 2021, so book your tickets on time.
