The low-cost carrier, SpiceJet, has announced that it would start operating new flights January 20th onwards. These new flights will connect 12 non-metro cities across the country which will include Dehradun, Jammu, Jaipur, Amritsar, Jaipur, Varanasi, Madurai, Hyderabad and Vijayawada.

Announcing about the new flights, Tushar Srivastava, Head of Communications, Tweeted, “@flyspicejet to launch 12 new domestic flights from Jan 20. 1st #airline to launch daily direct flights connecting #Dehradun with #Jammu, #Jaipur & #Amritsar. To introduce addl frequencies on Jaipur-#Varanasi, #Chennai-#Madurai & #Hyderabad–#Vijayawada routes."
The routes between Dehradun-Jammu, Dehradun-Jaipur and Dehradun-Amritsar will be novelty routes for the no-frills carrier. On the other hand, the routes between Jaipur-Varanasi, Chennai-Madurai and Hyderabad–Vijayawada will get even more flights thus increasing the frequency between these cities. Also, SpiceJet has informed that the flight between Chennai and Madurai will only be operational on Tuesday, whereas the flight between other routes will be operational daily. SpiceJet also informed that for these new flights, it would deploy its Bombardier Q400s out of its fleet for the newly announced flights.
SpiceJet New Flight Fares Starting at Rs 1,648
SpiceJet’s new announcement of flight includes SG 3467 and SG 3468 between Dehradun and Jammu daily, which has a fare of Rs 3,814, SG 3464 and SG 3467 between Dehradun and Jaipur daily, for which the fare has been set at Rs 3396 and Rs 3787 to Dehradun. The flight between Dehradun and Amritsar, with flight number SG 3563 and SG 3464 is also daily and comes with a fare of Rs 2766 and Rs 2995. There is also the daily flight between Vijayawada and Hyderabad which has the lowest fare among the newly announced flights of Rs 1648.
