SpiceShuttle is trying to script a whole new chapter by being the pioneers in launching India's very first seaplane service. SpiceJet, with this service, is looking to strengthen the UDAN scheme that seeks to connect unconnected parts of India. With seaplane services, SpiceJet is also looking forward to boosting travel and tourism.
First Phase of SpiceShuttle: The first phase of this project now connects Sabarmati Riverfront in Ahmedabad to the Statue of Unity in Kevadia.
SpiceJet has conducted thorough seaplane trials in India since 2017 and is the only Indian airline to explore air connectivity through water bodies such as rivers or inland waterways.
SpiceJet Spice Shuttle:
Spice Shuttle provides customers with an easy and smooth travel experience enabling passengers to book pre-scheduled flights between two destinations within less than an hour, which may otherwise take more time by road. Not only does this service facilitate customers to reduce the duration of travel by flying, but also provides once in a lifetime experience of taking off from and landing on a water body. Passengers can also experience scenic and majestic aerial views, thanks to a low-altitude flying experience.

SpiceShuttle scenic tours also offer a unique experience by flying to important tourist destinations. Passengers can enjoy the thrill of flying off from the water and can also witness unmatched views of the location.

Currently, as per the website, the services are available between the Statue of Unity and the Sabarmati Riverfront. One can experience the thrill of flying from the water and enjoy the views of the Statue of Unity and natural formations at Kevadia. The flights will take off from Kevadia between 12:30 to 2 pm. Customers can book either one way or a round-trip.
SpiceShuttle Booking:
You can directly book the service from the website, or if you are more than four (4) passengers, a group booking can be done by calling the reservations help desk.
SpiceShuttle Ensures Privacy:
Safety, Security and privacy are the three hallmarks of SpiceShuttle Charter. The shuttles' 14-seater flights are meant for business as well as leisure travellers. Passengers can have unmatched flying pleasure with one's own personal space. If required, fliers can also book the entire seaplane for themselves to have that private flying experience.
COVID protocols:
Measures are taken on all SpiceShuttle flights to make them safe. The aircraft is sanitized before and after every flight with high-grade sanitisers. The crew wears protective gear, and each passenger is provided with a safety kit too.
