SpiceLock is a unique service from SpiceJet that allows passengers to lock their desired fare for 48 hours (2 days) without a name. Let's say you are unsure about the travel and who will travel, but the lucrative price tempts you to book the flight at that moment; you can now do that without a second thought with SpiceJet's SpiceLock. With this feature from SpiceJet, you can plan your journey without worrying about fares getting expensive, availability of seats or finalizing the co-passengers in times of hurry.
The fare-locking service enables SpiceJet customers to reserve bookings so that the selected flight tickets don't get sold out and the fare doesn't go up while customers finalize their travel plans. The service can be availed with or without a name, thus making it extra convenient and safe.

Who can avail the service?
Passengers flying on domestic and international flights operated by SpiceJet can now enjoy the service with assured seat and price protection. The only thing passengers need to be aware of is that this service is applicable for flights where the travel date is at least seven days from the booking date on domestic sectors and 15 days for international flights.
SpiceLock is Available for flights where the travel date is:
- 7 days and beyond for Domestic flights
- 15 Days and beyond for International flights
SpiceLock Charges:
Customers can opt for SpiceLock by paying a fee starting at Rs 99 as per the table below:

Steps to avail SpiceJet SpiceLock:
Passengers can follow the below steps to avail SpiceLock:
Step 1: Opt for Hold my Fare on the search result page
Step 2: Select the preferred hold fare option - With Name or Without Name
Step 3: Pay applicable fees to hold the fare for 48 Hours
Hold Time Example:
Booking Time: Sat 22 Oct 2022 06:39:43 PM
FareLock Hold Time till: Mon 24 Oct 2022 06:39:43 PM
To Confirm the Hold:
Step 4: To confirm the booking pay the ticket cost via the Manage my booking option on SpiceJet's website within 48 hours of holding the fare.

Platforms Available:
SpiceJet's SpiceLock service can be availed through all of SpiceJet's digital platforms - website, mobile site and app.
Things to Know:
- SpiceLock choice is not applicable on Promotional, Sale and Special fares.
- SpiceLock fee is exclusive of the ticket cost.
- SpiceLock fee cannot be paid using Credit Shell, Gift Cards, and Spice Loyalty/Spice Bonus Points.
- Name changes are not allowed in Hold Booking, and new passengers cannot be added while confirming the hold booking. In case you locked fare for 3 passengers and intend to confirm only 2 passengers, that can be done by unchecking the passenger(s) for which you do not wish to confirm the booking.
- SpiceLock fee will be applicable per passenger per segment and over and above the locked fare.
