India’s budget airline, SpiceJet will be launching 28 new flights connecting multiple major domestic destinations in the country. According to a Livemint report, tourist hotspots such as Jaisalmer, Jodhpur, Jaipur, and Udaipur in Rajasthan along with multiple key cities and metros across India will become part of the airline’s new winter schedule. SpiceJet will be adding two new flights in the Bengaluru-Pune route and connect Kolkata with Srinagar and Bagdogra with Ahmedabad. The new flights will be launched from October 31.

SpiceJet Will be Moving a Chunk of Domestic Flights to T1 of IGI Airport

In a tweet, SpiceJet said that it will be moving a part of its domestic flights to terminal 1 or T1 of the Indira Gandhi International (IGI) airport. The airline will continue operating international flights from the T3 of the IGI airport. These changes will come into effect from October 31, 2021, as well.

This should be a positive winter for the airlines as the government has lifted the capacity restrictions for domestic flights. All the Indian airlines can now operate at 100% capacity as more and more people are getting vaccinated every day.
