SpiceJet has stated that it will fly a special evacuating flight to Budapest, Hungary, to send home Indian people who have become stuck in Ukraine.
For this unique trip, the airline will deploy a Boeing 737 MAX aircraft. The aircraft will fly from Delhi to Budapest, with a return flight through Kutaisi, Georgia.
SpiceJet promises to fly additional evacuation flights and is in talks with concerned authorities.
Earlier in the day, the Government of India planned to send Union Ministers Hardeep Puri, Jyotiaditya Scindia, Karen Rijiju, and V K Singh to Ukraine's neighbouring nations to organise the evacuation of Indian students from Ukraine's borders.
