Vistara has newly added 62 flights to and from Mumbai and Delhi. With the new addition, Vistara now operates direct flights from Mumbai to 10 cities — Ahmedabad, Chandigarh, Chennai, Varanasi, Amritsar, Bengaluru, Delhi, Goa, Hyderabad and Kolkata. Besides, Vistara has increased the frequency of flights between Mumbai and Kolkata to three times a day. The airline also has increased the daily services on Mumbai – Goa route (twice a day); Mumbai – Bengaluru (six times a day); Mumbai – Hyderabad (three times a day); Delhi – Chandigarh (four times a day); Delhi – Guwahati (two times a day); Delhi – Amritsar (two times a day); Delhi – Kolkata (four times a day); and Delhi – Bengaluru (six times a day).

The new flight addition has increased the airline’s network over 50%. Vistara offers an approximate of 170 flights a day across 24 destinations. Its fleet comprises of 23 Airbus A320 and 6 Boeing 737-800NG aircraft.

Our frequent fliers have often expressed their wish to see Vistara add more flights and frequencies from Mumbai and Delhi to key destinations, and we’re happy that we are now able to announce these new flights and additional frequencies. These new flights also help us meet peak season travel demand amidst the prevailing capacity crunch in the market, especially in the full-service space, Sanjiv Kapoor, Chief Strategy & Commercial Officer, Vistara, said.

Vistara has changed cabin configuration in some of the new routes. The airline’s Boeing 737-800NG aircraft will operate in a two-class configuration of 12 Business Class and 156 Economy seats. The new Airbus A320neo aircraft will operate in an all-economy class configuration of 180 seats on selected routes.

Customers will enjoy the same high standard full-service experience with the same services and facilities that they have come to expect from Vistara, regardless of which aircraft one is flying. We have earned the reputation of being India’s most-loved airline, providing an unmatched flying experience. Everything we do is designed to maintain and improve the differentiation that has won us so many loyal customers, regardless of which aircraft or route one flies, Mr. Kapoor added.
